Whitewater turquoise is on my top 5 list of my personal favorites! The bright blue and white is absolutely stunning. It comes from the Campitos Mountains in Mexico, specifically from the Campitos mine. The area is known for producing high-quality turquoise with a distinctive sky blue to aqua blue hues and sometimes sparkling pyrite. The area also includes other mines like Sonoran Gold and Sierra Bella.
On this particular piece, the artist added a sterling silver adjustable chain measuring 9 1/2" on each side. Stamped sterling.
