Golden Hills turquoise comes from a mine in Kazakhstan, specifically in the Altyn-Tyube region, 200 miles from Russia. Also known as the Golden Hills mine. These stones are highly sought after for its rarity and distinctive beauty. Workers only extract the turquoise during the winter months when the ground is frozen. Summer months are nearly impossible due to flooding.
Golden HIlls turquoise is very rare and limited to obtain.
It is known for it's striking lavender hue, often set off by reddish-brown matrix.
